JTT Gives Back!

JTT Holiday Baskets 2019 (December 2-December 12, 2019)

For the Holidays, we have decided to make a difference in our community by supporting 33 families within Halton. Each class will "adopt" one family for the holidays and will work collaboratively to put together a basket to ensure their family has a happy and healthy holiday. Each class will brainstorm possible ideas of what their family might like for the holidays based on the age, gender, etc. of the family members. Donations can be non-perishable food items (particularly canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat/fish) toys, books, games, arts and crafts kits, gift cards, toiletries, personal care items such as hairbands, barrettes, etc. … anything a child or parent may need or enjoy. If each student feels free to bring in one item to support one member of the family, it will ensure that the basket will be full of thoughtful gifts and warm wishes. The donations are not intended to be extravagant and the decisions are left to the discretion of each family. Our goal is to build a sense of inclusion and belonging for all of our students and instill a belief that they can make a positive difference in the lives of others. All gifts will be picked up by the Salvation Army on the afternoon of December 13th. Thanks for helping us make a difference

Mitten and Sock Tree Donations

The Me To We Club will be collecting new socks, mittens/gloves (water-proof), hats, and scarves for the Halton Women's Shelter from Monday, December 2nd, 2019 to Tuesday, December 17th. All donations can be placed on our JTT Christmas tree in the front foyer of the school. Let's see if we can provide some warmth this holiday season to those in need.

JTT Food Drive Donations
